The Barolo Sperrs by Angelo Gaja is a great and impressive wine from the Serralunga. Dark, rich ruby ??with light garnet reflections in the glass, the scent is seductive of dark ripe fruit, with nuances of wild cherry, orange peel and liquorice. Impressive on the palate, compact and complex, with very fine tannins that extend over the entire length of the wine, earthy notes in the finale, silky finish.
