Product information "Colpetrone Montefalco Rosso DOC - 2018 - Tenute del Cerro"
The Montefalco Rosso from the Colpetrone winery is a cru made from Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Merlot. The fully ripe grapes are harvested in the Gualdo Cattaneo vineyards, fermentation and maceration take place at controlled temperature with daily pump overs and delestage. After racking, the wine ages on its own fine lees in stainless steel tanks, followed by a few months of bottle aging.

The Colpetrone Montefalco Rosso has a ruby red color, a fruity bouquet of raspberries, with hints of spices and is fleshy and full on the palate, with a gentle tannin structure. Goes well with red meat, grilled or roasted.
