Der Barbera d'Alba von Prunotto reift für 6 Monate in Eichenfässern und noch einige Monate in der Flasche. Rubinrot im Glas, im Bouquet Aromen nach Lavendel, Brombeere und schwarzer Johannisbeere, Tabak, Unterholz und Zartbitterschokolade. Am Gaumen ist der Barbera d'Alba von Prunotto wunderbar trocken und aromatisch, mit guter Textur schmelzig und dicht. Im Nachhall überzeugend mit mineralischen Noten.

Er passt perfekt als Begleiter zu Gemüsesalat mit roter Beete, Spinatgratin mit Mandeln oder Kalbstafelspitz mit Bohnen und Tomaten.
